✅Identity Verfication

Authentication on vapi.co is handled via the API key generated for your specific environment (Test or Live) at www.vapi.co, along with IP address verification. The API key is authenticated using the Bearer Authentication method.

Test environment authentication steps

  1. While on the API Key page, activate the Test Environment option at the top.

  2. Under the IP Addresses section on the same page, define the IP addresses from which requests to vapi.co endpoints will be made.

  3. Copy the API Key on the same page and include it as a Bearer Token in the 'Authorization' header when sending requests to your chosen endpoint. Identity Verfication

When you activate the Test Environment option, the top bar of the page changes to a dark color. 😉

Live environment authentication steps

  • While on the API Key page, activate the Live Environment option.

  • Under the IP Addresses section on the same page, define the IP addresses from which requests to vapi.co endpoints will be made.

  • Copy the API Key on the same page and include it as a Bearer Token in the 'Authorization' header when sending requests to your chosen endpoint. Identity Verfication

When you activate the Live Environment option, the top bar of the page changes to a light color. 😉
